In this way Theology leads immediately to Religion, i.e. the recognition of our duties as divine commands; because it is only the recognition of our duty and of the final purpose enjoined upon us by Reason which brings out with definiteness the concept of God. This concept, therefore, is inseparable in its origin from obligation to that Being.
